Brett Cotter has over 25 years of experience helping people break free from emotional pain, trauma, and anxiety. He is the founder of Stress is Gone and award-winning author of The Suicide Prevention Family Handbook, The Stress Is Gone Method, and 3 Keys to Managing PTSD.
Brett has taught his signature method in Fortune 500 companies, military bases, disaster sites, recovery centers, the Veterans Administration, schools, hospitals, and world-renowned wellness centers such as the Omega Institute, Kripalu, Sivananda Bahamas, Himalayan Institute, New York Open Center, and Tibet House NYC.
He serves as the trauma expert for Meditation University’s teacher training program, he trains mental health professionals in his suicide prevention protocol, and certifies students in his methods.
Brett is certified by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress; his training programs are accredited by the International Mindfulness & Meditation Alliance; and his core method is certified by the American Institute of Stress.
