RETREAT BY INVITED PRESENTER

Spend the weekend learning how to move without pain and feel good in your body again. Chronic pain is not inevitable. Learn how to move freely for the rest of your life. This immersive weekend is for anyone who wants to live a pain-free full and active life.

“Gena is a gentle, caring and present teacher. Her practices were easy to embrace and very effective. I found the learning through movement awareness to be very powerful.”

STAY SAFE DURING COVID-19: We are committed to your health and safety. Please read our COVID-19 Precautions & Preparations to understand our strategies.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Often, chronic pain can be traced back to stress, which creates chronic muscle tension, ultimately leading to limited movement. But that can be reversed. This comprehensive weekend program will teach you movements that release your stress and free your muscles. You will leave with a range of tools you can use at home, and a daily practice tailored to your specific needs, so you can lead a more vibrant life of awareness, movement and self-agency.

  • Understand how somatics, the method of pandiculation, and sensory motor amnesia have profound benefits for living pain free
  • Experience the benefits of nature’s reset button (pandiculation)
  • Uncover how your brain develops habits
  • Connect with a new awareness of your body and your habits
  • Identify principles and strategies for self-care
  • Create your personal daily practice

  • Identify your own patterns of holding tension that inhibit your functioning
